I’m confirming that the mandatory evaluation for all spring 2016 Pony players will be held on Saturday, December 5th, from 2-4PM at Coaches field in Piedmont. If we have weather problems, we’ll schedule an alternative date.

As in years past, the boy scouts will be having their tree lot at Coaches that day. So please just drop your kids off at the field 10-15 minutes before the eval starts. It would also be best to pick them up on Mesa Ave (near Park Way since Moraga can be busy at that intersection) after the evaluation to avoid traffic problems at Coaches. Please let me know if you have any concerns about these arrangements.

Players should wear baseball pants and hats, and bring their gloves, bats, and any other equipment they prefer (e.g., catcher’s gear). Our pro coaches, Steve Thobe and Spencer Wood, will be running the evaluation, the results of which will be used to form balanced teams.
